I don't see Martin competing with A.Schleck and Nibali.
He lost 90/70s on them today, should be twice as much on stage 17 and up to the Ventoux, he's not gonna make up so much time in the TT, especially not on Nibali.Wiggins-Schleck-Nibali battling for 2nd now.

Too bad your idol got steamrolled on a minor climb in a Tour route for grannies. :p :p :p

Imagine if that had been a real mountain stage. I guess we will be treated to some real fun next Saturday.

The interest in the rest of the Tour in America, has decreased by the number of coffee cups being smashed into TV screens.

Great finish, but shameful to see Kloden and Armstrong riding on the front after Contador attacked.Don't get me wrong I still think Armstrong is a great athlete but Contador has proven twice in this Tour that he is "El Boss", Astana should ride for him now. As for Kloden and Hincapie remember Armstrong's words "no more gifts". Astana could have had the podium(1,2,3) if Kloden had ridden for himself. And as for Wiggins, brilliant.

So Andy do you want to reconsider your statement that Contador is beatable?

Give it a year or two and Conta is gonna have some real problems with the likes of A. Schleck, Nibali, Gesink etc. More trouble then he is having now anyway..

Anybody feel that Lance could have chanced down Contador today, but he just wanted to be a good team mate ;) ?

Suree!!! and F.Shleck, A. Schleck, Nibali, Wiggo, Sastre, Kloden, Evans...anyone else?? but he was such a nice guy he let them all go:p

I am under the impression that this forum is going back to normal over the next fey days (i.e. all new livestrong guys getting ****ed off and start packing their bags) I feel some winds of chance, after the dark, dark day it was today

Kudos to the ol man, he tried. He should tank Kloden tonight, without him he would have lost 40 seconds more.

Wiggo was impressive as well as Schleck

Alberto Contador: Gracias Alberto for the attack. Hope the best man wins!!

Paris podium:

Contador
Schleck
Armstrong or Evans

I hope these guys keep attacking over the next week, so that the TTT loses more significance on the GC

Looked pretty fair to me. Said AC has the legs.

Somewhat, but he did take the jersey comparison dig. Yea Lance, we know how many you won. We also know one you won't.

He didn't seem that sour to me. More disappointed. Not sure what else to expect him to say. I mean, the writing is on the wall.

He might be able to hold on to a podium, simply because that TTT created such a nice cushion, and he is holding himself fairly well. I'm sure that's going to be a goal at this point.

Still, awesome, awesome ride by Contador. And great to see the riders finally attack each other.

Well I have been finally woken up,THANK GOD. What an amazing job AC did, but of coarse I am not the least bit surprised. He looked so happy and relieved to finally shut the critics up. The crap he has had tp put up with for the last 2 weeks can now be put to rest. In my mind, there should never have been a question as to who was the leader of ASTANA.

Congratulations to Alberto.
