You're right...... Armstrong looks tired...... time for high cadence... ?

It's against the spirit of things to attack the Patron before he's had a chance to do a rest day top up! ;)

Did they change back to the heavier helmuts? Perhaps it's slowing him up with all the extra weight...lol

They have ! Think it has the blood stored in the them on slow drip mode....

Is Evans riding a yellow bike ? Maybe that was the one he'd thought it use when he captured the yellow jersey ?

Kelly (on ES) is such a downer! He's already saying Evans will give up on the break.

Kelly must have got stuck into the Guinness last night and has a moody hangover... he'll come good by 2pm after he has some cakes...

He's been riding the yellow bike all Tour. The colour matches his dreams but not his reality (yet).

I had thought something similar myself....I thought he may have been getting a little bit ahead of himself....

He's made me go all weak at the knees too. :D Was it the stage to Morzine in 2000 that Pantani attacked from the gun and Lance bonked during the chase and almost lost the race? Has Cadel been evoking the spirit of Il Pirata?

If the guys in the break work - and they will (apart from Dave Z) because they want to win the stage - then this could work to Evans' advantage as the others behind will also be working hard in their attempt to chase the break. What's the point in sitting in Astana's shadow until the Alps? I reckon Evans has realised that would be folly and good luck to him.

To keep things interesting we need is Armstrong to crash so we get a "should we wait" or "should we go" scenario from his team...

Now we have a break that could stay away to the last climb. Canc to drag them through the valleys. George to crash into a ditch.

could do but Astana and Saxo are too good to let that happen I fear

However because of his years as a mountain bike rider, Cadel is brilliant with the decents

of and to the gents last night - cant say cadel is a wheelsucker now can we?
