neil Stephens needs to get the sack becos australia has burnt out by riding too early and all the other main teams would be happy for the break to stay away.:mad::mad:

Thing with Gilbert is he's not afraid to attack, and explosively. I remember a Giro stage where he took a win this year (moderately uphill, explosive attack a few k's from finish). If he has the legs, could cause the Italians problems if he catches them napping.

He will have to go from further here, I don't think he can match Cunego and Valverde for explosivity. Im thinking this years LBL, but actually working

Valverde or cunego are out of it if they don't chase tho they have guys in the break and team mates to chase unlike australia.

Duque is in the group as well. Or the italians :D

No pace in the bunch whatsoever.

Not sure if that's what you mean, but Rujano and Duque are not on the same team :p

44kms. Break looking like making it

Wait, now no one wants to pull up front either. that's interesting. That might very well be the end of them

This is the time when "fleas" starting jumping from the peloton to try and catch the break alone

Oh, ******. He's Venezuelan isn't he.

Funnily enough, Duque now goes for it and the rest of the break cant be arsed.

Italians are a bit confused... they're talking with Saronni on tv, and he's worried the guys drove the break too much and don't have much left.

(btw, I keep pushing this live chat thing because I love to talk about races, but it's really boring to keep hitting reload here! I'd be happy if Cycling News added one. http://www.bikechatter.com/chat )

I'm sure this was covered earlier somewhere, but why doesn't Universal Sports have commentators today?!?! Sort of a mixed blessing. :)

Cyclingtv commentator is really good today (always actually). Knows every rider, tactic, what have you. Backstedt sometimes helps and good, too. Mixed blessing, LOL: want commentary, then when they talk, not so sure :)

The italians are going to chase from the pelton. i have a feeling that they think ballan will get dropped on the climb so they need cunego.
