Crash yesterday, 2nd today. Getting closer. Too bad he had to restart a bit when Demare closed the lane.
Hope he takes it tomorrow!

Best question is how some Tour favorites are only 11 stages in and have crashed so often. Roglic may have crashing being something that has to factor in.. Wout in double digit percentage for falling off his bike.. Wout obviously has power and speed he is there in multiple sprint stages, gotta ask would Van Aert be more of a factor if he didn't fall off his bike all the time..Is it unfair to ask why Wout is so often the one getting pinched in these deviation incidents?
Demarre apparently did not know that Wout was coming up on the rails, so it wasn't on purpose, but he needs to hold his line.I'm French and I want Demarre to be relegated.
This year he's certainly crashed a few times, but in the years before? Can't remember too many instances tbh.Best question is how some Tour favorites are only 11 stages in and have crashed so often. I think his lack of train is a factor here, so he has to sometimes pick a lane that he knows has a high risk, but he doesn't have enough guys to move him to a better position without eating wind.Is it unfair to ask why Wout is so often the one getting pinched in these deviation incidents?
Mummy wrapped today still got strong second!!Pfff Wout, his cursed streak continues this Tour.
I really, really hope he can turn it around with a big win soon. Gold in Paris would be very granted.
He didn't have the legs, but could still have tried to be a bit more proactive maybe, but its very hard when youre this marked on top of not being in great shape. He rode in the perfect way to ensure that he doesn‘t get to fight for the win today. This was never going to come down to a bunch sprint and yet he didn‘t try anything uphill. Very frustrating
It's also pointless when you have a teammate up the road that's covered every move. Concede for his sake and control the field behind by setting false tempo and shutting down bridge attempts to your mate.He didn't have the legs, but could still have tried to be a bit more proactive maybe, but its very hard when youre this marked on top of not being in great shape.
Mostly 2nd.If cycling was about being 2nd or 3rd he would be the best in the world.
Mostly 2nd.
I was shocked when Ganna suddenly went much faster than him.
Yeah, i didn't expect him on the podium, and while he needed Tarling to have a mechanical, he did do much better than i assumed he would.Didn’t expect this from him at all after seeing how he ride in TDF. He should be very happy
Agreed. Thanks for mentioning it was the Invalides but wasn’t sure. With the Hôtel des Invalides in the background he proved that he's a fighter. In the past he's often been unhappy with silver, but today he was happy with bronze.
