Agreed. Pog would have definitely gone with that group and would have missed the Remco move if they didn't stay away. It could have been the same result. Having the best team and being able to use Van Aert to cover the MvdP moves was just perfect.I think that, with Pogacar there, the group that Van der Poel pulled clear on the first Montmartre possibly stays away and Evenepoel doesn't even enter the discussion. If not, the race still goes exactly the same way unless Pogacar is immediately on the wheel for the first acceleration.
This is like a 3-minute break in the final 10km! Another ad!Add in the last 10km!

Of course he could have contested the race!! Next big romance movie is going to be about a guy that sacrifices a gold medal for the love of a woman!! Bike racing woman!!Don't think so, Evenepoel already beat him in similar fashion
And then doing like 3 race days in the rainbows during the Tour…VDP deserves this average form after only doing 8 race days in the rainbows before the tour
Not Javier Sola boasted PogiDon't think so, Evenepoel already beat him in similar fashion
Remco has no business against Pogi on cobbles.Flanders will be fun next year between Pog and Remco
