Thanks. this looks useful! Do you know which feed will have the cycling, because they just seem to have arbitrary numbers as the title...?

Yeah: here

The road race will be on channel 3.

If you click on "EBU Members Live" you can also watch other countries' Olympic coverage - maybe Slovakian tv or so shows the road race form start to finish.

How can I watch this besides waiting for coverage in Eurosport?

If you're in Europe you can use the link I gave a couple posts earlier.

I don't know why they don't advertise that, I think it's an awesome service, and almost nobody knows about it. I found out about it by coincidence during the Beijing Olympics, and they do this every two years.

That link is simply amazing, thanks a lot for sharing :)

Looking forward to this one - a chance to recreate old style racing w/o radios and teams (hopefully) too small to make it a guaranteed sprint? Lets hope a strong breakaway makes this interesting early on..

In relation to a previous post, only 30 kph on box hill? That sounds pretty slow for an under 4% climb.

It's 5%, the two middle turns can't really be done at much more than 30kph, but I would expect the speed of the bunch to be faster for sure, the top local club cyclists can go up there solo at nearly 30kph and the wind is right for fast times up there.

Cancellara's kit makes him look like a doctor or something.

Clutching at straws here, but he's on the front - maybe he will go for the win!
