Uran - coward, rode for silver as soon as they had a gap
Spain - cowards, three guys in the break and they all sit on

Hmm, someone should check Vino's bank-account the following days.. Uran move a little too obvious for me

That was totally bizarre finish. Uran looked plain dumb.

Nah, this happens a lot: Pascal Rischard and Ullrich for example.

I have to admit this was a good race. 5 man teams make races exciting.

I agree. I think 5 man teams would make GTs much, much, much, more interesting. And likely would reduce crashes too.

@Bridie_OD: every sexually active woman in the universe has faked better than Uran just did. You're a disgrace mate.

Yeah, does seem fake indeed. But who knows.... Uran is an idiot no matter what.

How was it a massive fail from GB? What were they supposed to do when teams like the Germans failed to commit to the chase. GB did all they could, they just didnt get any help. If the Germans had worked they would be guaranteed a medal, they didnt and they got nothing.

GB came here to win, nothing less. Im sure they are disappointed.

Also where was Australia in the peleton? They could've at least helped chasing a bit, the way they rode today was totally negative, even if Cav had the biggest chance to win if the break was reeled in. At least Germany tried. Also Belgium very dissappointing, Boonen should have went with Cancellara.

now, let's hope they get the right national anthem.

And yes, a national embarressment for Britain - love it when the arrogant get pushed down. Don't expect the same in the ITT (btw, who can finish 3rd there now? LLS?)

Anyhow, the Cav course actually produced a great race; much more animated than the average World Champs.

Who would have thought?
A Kazakh, Columbian, Norwegian podium.
Very inoffensive.

Big red faces for GB, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Italy, Australia, Holland and even France.

Very sad scene with Cancellara.
Season done, I'd say.
