Denmark also has the two youngest participants in the men's track event with Niklas Larsen and Frederik Madsen (who messed up and dropped off after 2,5 k). Looking very bright for the future
The good thing is that Norman is in great shape to defend his olympic title in omnium.TomLPC said:Bushman said:Great time by Denmark in the pursuit, Lasse Norman was a beast. Leading almost for the entire last kilometer and going faster than New Zealand and Australia still.

Gutted there, totally had the Aussies on the ropes until they broke up

The commentator didn't get anything and spent the whole time only talking about how much stronger than everyone else GB is not noticing that the race was actually close. When the Aussies were in front he even thought that +0.4 for GB means that Britain is 0.4 seconds in front. When he noticed that it's not like that he stopped to talk about who is in front and only compared the split times to the WR split, and since GB was very fast he took that as the reason to talk about how good GB is, although Australia was ofc also extremely good compared to the WR time, but he ignored that.
The race wasn't shown live so I guess the commentary wasn't recorded during the race so the commentator already knew the result which is why he only talked about GB's greatness. It was actually pretty boring because I basically already knew who would win before the race even started.

So was Gaviria clear of the group? If so, I didn't spot him on camera at all. That would also mean that Cavendish got up to be first of the bunch, which isn't what I thought I saw either.
