Of course Urans performance was suspect, like many others of today. Just read my posts in context and properly.
CycloAndy said:Whilst I share your general scepticism about Sky's marginal gains, I can't see how a rider improving drastically after leaving Sky is a sign of Sky doping. If anything it would suggest the contrary.
FoxxyBrown1111 said:To be fair, DeGendt was a TTler before, Brambilla had his outcome today with other suspect italian performances, Poels is a CG rider (only that he crashed badly some years ago, otherwise he´d be even further). So all that´s left after clearing the noise is Urans strong performance of today. A rider who gradually improved over the years.

ScienceIsCool said:Facts: Until Romandie this year, Uran has been very consistently 4-6 s/km slower in time trials than the winner. Since then he is -2 to +2 s/km slower than the winner.
This is a ~20% improvement in power output.

Not being in the A Team != Being clean.JimmyFingers said:So the Colombians, one of who is suspended while they research his blood values, and who were Wiggins' key domestiques last year, and finished third in the Giro last year, weren't part of ATeam? And so what, were clean? And now Uran's left, and he's threatening to win the GT he finished their in, is now dirty? But there's still team wide dope programme at Sky, so what, it's racism that they excluded the Colombians? Or was it they weren't getting the A-grade ish, so Iran left to get the good stuff?
This place, lol

ScienceIsCool said:Well, he was 1.2 km/hr (2.2 s/km) faster than Evans (3rd place) today! Evans has been in slow decline over the last few years as he ages, but is still a very good time trailer.
I'd say he'd have done pretty well against these guys.

ScienceIsCool said:His single ITT performance at last year's Giro is the only outlier among all his ITT performances until Romandie this year. Otherwise, yes; he's consistently 4-6 s/km slower than the winner of ITT's. Source: ProCyclingStats
An average increase in performance of ~6 seconds per kilometer at (estimated) 50 km/hr requires ~20% more power (or reduced drag).
Just presenting the facts.

Your mistake is that you think the whole Clinic holds the same views, and then you call its members out on what you seem to perceive as an inconsistency where all there is is different people holding different views. My theory has always been consistent on this point: there's no team-wide doping at Sky if you take that expression literally, there's an A Team, which I believe was made up of Rogers, Porte, Wiggins and Froome at the 2012 Tour.
You don't let everybody into the sancta sanctorum. That's a recipe for being exposed down the road. I never said anything about racism being involved, I always said it was simply a matter of trust.
So save your derision for yourself.
