What seems more troubling is the information contained on the front of the Sun today:

One neighbour, whose doctor husband rushed to Pistorius’s house, told of hearing three shots, followed by ten minutes’ silence — then three more.

If true, 3 shots, 10 minutes and then 3 more shots; and shot through the bathroom door.

It is looking more and more like an argument that went far beyond that and ended with her being shot.

I really don't know what to think of this whole mess! Part of me want to believe that it simply was a tragic ****ed up accident. I sorta... 'like' the guy, and I don't wanna think of him as a killer.
On the other hand; I suppose it's easier to just go "He's a bad guy!" and disregard him, instead of trying to wrap my head (and heart) around the pain a guy who accidentally shot his girlfriend would be going through.
Of course, according to live reports he's in hell no matter how it happened!

The prosecution are seeking a "premeditated murder" charge, seems the harshest charge as opposed to manslaughter, I don't know if there is another charge, to somehow suggest a very temporary loss of temper but not self defense?

I guess it looks worse that he probably shot her first through the bathroom door and not when she was up in his face.

What a moron. South Africa is violent as hell. Murder rates are six times higher than the U.S. The country is sometimes called the rape capital of the world. People keep weapons to defend themselves. It is why Pistolius was living in a development with electrified walls three meters high.

From what has come out so far, the guy is an aggressive domestive abuser who likes to threaten people. The same guy who threatened to break a man's leg had a previous girlfriend that suffered injuries when a "wooden beam fell on her leg in his house." Uh-huh, just fell on her.
