Gap is slowly going out. Very slowly.

Remarkably, that was Leipheimer on the front again. Has someone given him a personality transplant?

it's over for anyone not in the first group.
TGBM, I am dissapoint

Yes. Lotto and Saur are now working on the front of the second group, but it took them a lot of time to get their act together and it will be very tough now.

Any reason why I don't see any Rabo's leading the chase? They don't seem to have a rider in the front group, either.

Just started watching btw.

Gave up on the overall, saving energy for some stage wins later on?

Can only assume that they don't have the strength to contribute today. There doesn't seem to be any tactical reason for them to sit on.

By the way, Sean Kelly just cracked me up talking about Leipheimer's tactic and his interview. To be fair to Levi though, saying that Martin is the team leader was both the astute thing to say in terms of keeping a low profile and also the sensible and polite thing to say when your team mate won last year.

I was going to say LL Sanchez too, but I guess I'm too late, as he was a loser the day he signed a contract for Rabo...
