Valverde has looked damn good since his return...

So it's a question of how Wiggins deals with it, plus whatever Levi can pull out of the bag, which considering his early form in San Luís may quite a bit?

I think that Movistar will come to the front soon, maybe on the 1st cat. The guys out front will tire a bit too.

Anton to take the victory today. He might not be in great shape yet, but it's a really good climb for him and he certainly won't be marked by the GC contenders. Also, it would be awesome if even Euskaltel gets a victory before BMC :D

well i hope they don't let the breakaway win, that would be lame.still 6 minutes...
I doubt Movistar and OPQS will let this to happen. They need to test Wiggins in the next 2 cat 1s.

Movistar can't chase everything, every day. Stage 6 and 7 are definite breakaway days.

True maybe, but on stage 7 Valverde's team mates will be able to give it everything as they dont have to do anything the next day.

simon clarke is a strong dude though.

Not as strong as combined forces of OP, Movistar and Sky, with potentially Carrots and Katusha helping too

On a side-note, I hope Tirreno stage will end after the P-N stage, wanna watch them both, and hate watching two races simoteneously, while pretending to work :)

Yeah, ive noticed he has been last over every mountain so it looks like he isnt contesting those sprints. Not sure why not though. Maybe he's saving himself. Still cant see them holding off the peloton though.

Will Movistar start working Wiggins over on the first of the two climbs?

I doubt it since mopvistar knows only one tatcic and that is ride one tempo to the final sprint/hill you will never see valverde attack earlier or teammates or forcing an increidble tempo on a climb. one of the most boring teams out there. thank god quintana(hopefully cobo too) is their future and not valverde

CN Live:
Movistar and BMC sharing the pace. This is perfect for Sky, huddled around Wiggins near the front of the bunch, but not having to do much of the work.
Perfect for Sky? LOL!!!

Davide cassini thinks velverde will win today. He is the guy who spoils it all for the chicken in 2007, though everyone who remember know that.

tried to spoil it for Cancellara too;)
