I'm no Levi fan, watching him descend is both painful and hilarious, but he helped Redneck win ToC last year so that statement is incorrect

Levi wanted to be the leader, on the first mountain stage Horner was pacing him but Levi couldn't follow. Then on final mountain stage they both rode high tempo and Horner gave him the win, hardly much helping.

All you said there is true, Levi kills races by racing so boring. Still, I don't want him to crash for that.

No one can do what Levi does. He was the only rider contesting wigans for the overall and was the favorite for the final TT (right?).

Why would he waste energy trying to win P-N from a breakaway? What team leader on the PT leads out their sprinter instead of conserving energy?

Lastly, he doesn't really kill races he is usually just a non factor I don't understand how that kills the race maybe you shouldn't watch them on nbc/versus/usa sports networks that perhaps give too much attention to american riders.

It al depends on how hurt he was after the crash, personally I dont think he looked that bad, just soft pedalled coz he knew that the GC was gone.

what? leipheimer was the designated leade rbut failed. then the only other hard stage horner held in and gave the win to leipheimer that did absolutely nothing to help horner

he didn't help conatdor at all in tour 2007 and vuelta 2008/ in fact contador was incredibly mad after vuelta 2008 saying leipheimer was a lousy teammate only in it for himself. he didn't even want to ride in teh same team anymore. saying a helper should never finish within a minute of his leader in a gt.

He did help actually ;) Just watch Angliru stage. Contador was mad because he thought Leipheimer rode to win the Vuelta in the final climb time trial. Don't distort the story.

Leipheimer also paced an elite group in the Tour 2007 containing Contador, him and Rasmussen ;) More impressive stuff than what Wiggins so far has achieved on the road.

Thomas De Gendt:

"I'm almost certain Westra will win."

Anyone who is 'certain' Westra will win, can simply pop along to Betfair, or any other bookmaker, gather together all their worldly goods and triple them overnight.

I am not sure Wiggins will win but I think that it's at least three times more likely that he will win it than Westra will.

Well I find the ignore function useless anyway, if you keep getting upset over something someone said on a forum, well maybe you shouldn't be on the forum anyway.

Yep, you got it

Heh I don't get upset about it. I just rather not have such an incredibly amount of idiocy and *** behaviour on this forum.

*) One of the main reasons he was that good was, I think, that he choose to peak during paris-nice, while other guys use this race to get ready for the early season. Westra was already talking about Paris-Nice as early as December, so he's really in good shape right now.

It's true. He has peaked for this race.

Now I would really like to see Westra win tomorrow. That would be epic, but I still think Wiggins will take it.

Geraint Thomas: "Thought we were in the final of San Remo today. Not a fan of teams attacking on decents!! Especially after crashes..."

Wiggins: "Feel sorry for @LeviLeipheimer what a **** way to loose all, got done from behind #badsportsmanship"

So those of you who say Movistar didn't intentionally increase the pace because Leipheimer had an accident...well, clearly the riders in the peloton don't agree with you, but I guess you know better

Then kudo's to De Gendt because Movistar wasn;t gaining anything on him so it looked like they were only controlling the pace to me...
