Paris-Nice 2012 - Stage 7: Sisteron - Nice, 219.5 km

I've ridden Col de Vence several times , it is a perfect climb for climbing rouleurs - 5-7% no ramps - good luck to anyone trying to disrupt Sky on it

The descents in this area are also very nice, smooth curves, good road surfaces - on closed roads there should be no problems for professional riders

A day for the breakaway with GC riders wanting it easy ahead if the TT

he's not very good no but better than wiggins and leipheimer for sure

Amaël Moinard, who won the final stage and the King of the Mountains classification at Paris-Nice in 2010, said the team will support van Garderen for the general classification. "We have some classic riders here, which will allow him to stay out of trouble the first couple days," Moinard said. "Then, as it gets harder, we will be there to support him and I hope to be on the offensive to go for a stage. The last weekend the races are on roads close to my home that I ride almost every day. So that's the best motivation for me."

All I said was that I would bet on him being in the break which was backed up by the stage he won in the past and his comments before the race.

I am allowed to support a team. Also, if you actually read my posts I do talk about other teams but that is besides the point. I can talk about who I damn well want. If you don't like to read my posts then either ignore my posts, **** off or put up with my posts.

Looking at the map, I wonder why they don't leave out Tourrettes-sur-Loup, climb the Col de Vence from the other side, and go straight down towards Nice.

And if that would make the stage shorter than people wanted, you could always include the Col d'Èze in the final, or another climb in the area. Would be a much more decisive stage.

Cause it is the ASo that makes the route

I sort of backtrack the comment with "racing is racing." I only saw the last 10K. I do not really like seeing and never did like a guy chatting me up like that. Especially in the final K. Jens of course could have called his bluff, but did blink first. A good win for Rabbo.
