Not using Kooij to mop up that sprint is very questionable in my opinion.

Van Poppel with a perfect leadout without BennettBennett lost his wheel. Pretty bad.
Nice top-3.
Glad it doesn't look like anyone was seriously hurt in that crash.
Pedersen new leader! 4 seconds from 3rd yesterday and 10 from this win is more than 2 times 6 from the intermediates.Downhill last km and the island in the middle, crash always about to happen. Hopefully De Lie didn't crash.
Strong effort from Mads! Pogi new leader!
He crossed the line with the movistar rider didn't he? He seemed fineThe TE rider didn't look happy though. He may have broken his collage bone.
Forgot about his 3th place yesterday. Better for Pogi.Pedersen new leader! 4 seconds from 3rd yesterday and 10 from this win is more than 2 times 6 from the intermediates.

And it's also better to strike at the right moments.
That was a complete mess, positioning definitely won the day for Pedersen.
Indeed strike/attack, you know what I mean.As opposed to striking at the wrong moment?
Kooij has been very underwhelming so far this season... he's always up there or thereabouts, but he just doesn't have the speed. That was quite different last year.Kooij with the best leadout he's ever had he gets the inside of the curve and he sprints right backwards.
Should have sprinted against Pogacar, though he might have lost that too

Might be simply his training hasn't focused enough on his sprint until now in the season. Otherwise there shouldn't be reason for 21 year olds to magically lose spint speed. He's also 21...
