Let the hype begin! It's a showdown between Pog and Vinge, before their real showdown at the TDF. But there's also a lot of other talent here.
Also notable is the TTT of 32 km, where stronger teams will take a lot of time.

Notable GC mentions: Pogacar, Vingegaard, Martinez, Skjelmose, Powless, Simon Yates
Notable sprinters: De Lie, Pedersen, Laporte, Demare, Matthews, Merlier

Pogacar vs Vingegaard hype. Wish we had a 25km ITT instead of TTT obviously. Anyone have a profile of the stage 4 finishes and the stage 6 climbs? Stage 7 and 8 we've seen before.

Can’t find any profiles of the stage 6 climbs so I’ll be mapping those out later this week, the final KOM is the same as in the 2018 stage into Vence won by Molard though. In the meantime, these are the hills on the first stage and the KOM + preceding climb of stage 4.

Edit: ended up finding a profile of the final climb on stage 6.

Edit 2: All climbs added.

Of course the big story of the race will be Pogacar vs. Vingegaard. However, there will be another interesting "battle":

arnaud-demare-2023.jpeg
vs.
david-gaudu-2023.jpeg

Who will leave the race as the "big man" - figuratively speaking - of the team?
Will they be able to behave themselves, and work together?

Why don't the like each other?

I thought I heard GCN commentators say that Gaudu didn't/doesn't want Demare in the Tour team, or something like that.

I don't know who'll win this bike race but the difference between #2 and #3 in the GC will be large enough for Pogi & Vinge to visit a roadside restaurant on the last stage.

Thanks.

Stage 4 looks like an uphill sprint of a small group probably. Stage 6 is far from the finish, but the fact that there's not a descent immediately makes me somewhat optimistic that it can at least be shattered into small groups there.

Did you not ask Gaudu about it that time you saw him at a bus stop?

That was before that whole thing happened. Or, at least before it became public knowledge.
Besides, I think we established that it probably wasn't actually Gaudu, because not only am I pretty sure he was racing at the time, but also why the frick would he be at a random bus stop in Tranbjerg?

Why would anybody be in Tranbjerg?
