While that is true, he's bloody fast on Buffalo and has the KOM as of last December (Tour of Bright); and there's been plenty of handy climbers on that hill over the years.
BTW it's 18.2km at 5.7% , lots of similarity.

Nobody here said he had "bad legs" because he didn't lost 30 minutes, simply he didn't had the legs to do better than what he did. The other guys were stronger than him , and nobody said he given up on GC.

We got a bit of calm before the GC storm today. I like on how this race has substance and there will for sure be some drama too. Altered stage 7 should in my opinion be tailor made for Rogla. And there will be plenty other opportunity, starting tomorrow, so lets see on how the legs feel. Weather will in my opinion play a role and lets not forget, it's early season, so it's realistic to expect form (drop) will affect the outcome.

I'd be very surprised if he doesn't drop Buitrago tomorrow. And nobody is gonna pull him back on the false flat downhill.

If he gets the right gruop over the top of the climb, yellow is a complete gimme for Evenepoel.

I had been moe surprised if Evenepoel doth 'i fact drop Buitrago to-morrow, honestly speaking. The old chap hasn't looked to be on a merely divers level this week thus far. I be also sure everyman be expecting him to try something thither. The rest of the stage doth not look hard enough judging from the profile (no imagining about wind or narrow roads though), less difficult overall than when buitrago won convincingly to be sure. Buitrago was also one of the fellows closest to Evenepoel 'i last year's Liège when he attacked, he has a decent engine and can doth well on a hard day. If SQS pace that steep section properly hard, and he get a gap of 15 meters, it could suffice, yet Buitrago shall wot which wheel to look for. I wouldn't put mine money down.

I doth regard it is moe like they drop Plapp on that ascension.

Could well join down to boniseconds on stage 8. Stage 7 looks as a recipe for a nought burger at a first glance.

Today is a stage where the focus is on just getting through it. If they are able to get the bonus seconds in the sprint, then they'll go for it, but they don't seem too eager to make a move and attack.

I think so too. Although it's quite cold, and the tempo has been high, so what might seem like an easy stage, might become hard to the weather and pace.

it's a finishing circuit, so half of it (the first part after the muro) is a big tailwind instead.

Fair enough. But I'm not convinced that the race will blow apart enough on such a short climb that far from the finish that only the few strongest can stay away. If it was a one-day race, then maybe. But I really wouldn't mind being proven wrong, and to get a good entertaining stage.
