As predicted, his work made him lose 6" to Evenepoel.Yeah, he shouldn't pull here. He can drop McNulty again tomorrow.
Jonas and Tadej disagree.Remco and Roglic looking good again.
Maybe, maybe not, but Bora played tactics very well.Roglic looking destined for a role as 2nd luitenant to Vlasov in July.
Doesn't help if you let your best domestique wait for Almeida so you can protect his 14th place.McNulty doesnt have the team to win imo
That’s the key tomorrow is teamMcNulty doesnt have the team to win imo
He hung in there though and still has the yellow jersey - chapeau!Mcnulty looking lonely there
didn't Großschartner only wait for Almeida after he was dropped anyway?Doesn't help if you let your best domestique wait for Almeida so you can protect his 14th place.
The last climb is hard enough, and the previous ones will be felt in the legs. McNulty is done.Tomorrow isn't bad for Mcnulty and Jorgenson needs to drop him or get bonuses, not a given but Evenepoel will try early I think.
Think the weather is against Vine and Almeida. I have see nothing to indicate McNulty is suffering from his illness, just not his terrain. Can't ask for a much better setup going into the final stage for GC combat, with the current placings. Remco can still win, but Jorgenson is in great position. I think McNulty has done a great job of defending the leader's jersey, but he might still be suffering a bit from the illness he picked up at UAE. Jay Vine didn't look well, today. Same for Almeida. Team flu?
Still impressive to me how much Evenepoel improved his sprint. Can't be that long ago it was considered a bit of a joke?
That's why I'd like Mads Pederson and Jasper Stuyven in my team for that early stage part tomorrow ......race will b won before the last climbIt is very likely the race will be in pieces quite early tomorrow.
Those who have multiple riders could have an advantange.
Both Vlasov and Kelderman looked very good today for their respective teams, which is good for both Roglic and Jorgenson.e
