So Vingegaard comes fresh from his Algarve win to dominate yet another stage race. The others will have to settle for 2nd place or lower. O'connor and Almeida might try something though. And Buitrago has been in good form as well
Also notable is the TTT of 28 km, where Visma will take even more time with the help of Star Wars helmets.

Notable GC mentions: Vingegaard, Jorgenson, O'Connor, Almeida, Buitrago, Skjelmose, McNulty, Vlasov, Sivakov, Bardet
Notable sprinters: Merlier, Pedersen, Kristoff, Andersen, Demare, Jakobsen, Matthews

In this thread you can complain about Vingegaard making the race boring, for Pogacar use the Strade Bianche thread.
It's not Vingegaard's fault. If Evenepoel was here it could've been an exciting race. He would take time in the ITT, which pushes Vingegaard on the attack in the mountains.

Someone should convince Vingegaard that every climb here is secretly Alto da Foiá in disguise, then we might have an actually-interesting race.

A friend told me that her dog once found a squirrel under a parked van, and ever since then while out for a walk the dog stopped to look under every stationary van thinking a squirrel might be under it.
I feel the same way about Paris-Nice threads ;)

Haven't seen a full start list yet, but I don't think it will be a boring race at all. The parcours looks good to me, and even if Vingegaard turns out to be superiour (which I don't think), it will mostly affect the final weekend only anyway.

Time for Jorgenson to sharpen his blade and pull a Brutus.

"I hope to win! I want to win Paris-Nice. That’s my objective. I only have super good memories from Paris-Nice. I love it, it’s my favourite race on the calendar. It’s one of the biggest, if not the biggest, one-week stage races. That’s at least how I view it, it’s the one I like the most."
