Since Vingegaard is pretty sure of his GC win, will he still go for the stage or let others try to go for it? I can see Vauqelin win it then

usually Vingegaard always finds a reason to still go for it. But all in all, a breakaway win is probably more likely today.

If imvlasov I'm offering tarling a large sum of money (that would otherwise be spent on my newborn daughter) to get on the front and stay there

Strong breakaway group. A lot of rouleurs. Some teammates from Movistar. Perfect group to be in for Vlasov.

The break is strong and although there is no GC threat in it, the GAP seems still to be under 2 minutes. Question is who is chasing in the peleton? Even Visma has Campenaerts in there...

If the break wins, one out of the 3 Movistar riders, Prudhomme or Vlasov should win this..
Tarling as well as Campenaerts be used as satellite riders..

I think the break would have better chances if it didn't have such a big Movistar contingent. It's good for the other riders who can do some sneaky sitting-on, but I don't think it helps against the peloton.
