No, Sagan won't win the overall.

For one, he'll fall through in the only stage with a real climb (either stage 5 or the final stage)
For two, he won't limit the damage in the TT enough. He can do a pretty decent prologue, but that's it... (and there isnt even a prologue here, just that TT)

I really don't see how people think Sagan will be the overall winner. Guess all the hype isn't doing him any good. 3 stage wins, possible, but overall victory, no.

+ he fell in Sardinia, had to have stitches and had to abandon Giro del Friuli a couple of days ago. He may still be a bit stiff

according to the teams website Capecchi is the leader for the overall classification

Pff I'm willing to bet an avatar of Sagan for a year if he manages to win PN. Isn't going to happen anyway

Great. Nice objectivity.
We have already had Harmoan singing the praises of "classy" Levi Leipheimer and a dig at Ricco the snake and "doping" Vancansoleil.

Noted. I'll post a big retraction in my signature line if he doesn't.

why are the called team leopard? Is this a company that I have just never heard of?

Nah, it's not a sponsor per se, just a trading name of the team, similar to 'Highroad' and 'Slipstream'.

The good news is that David Harmon on Eurosport is refusing to pronounce the team name as leopard (think leotard), and is instead using the correct pronunciation; LEPPARD. ;)

They said only really French riders got a cheer big at the presentation but that Vino got a huge cheer as well.:D

Thats what you got to love about French crowds. THey dont cheer everyone, they even boo others, but they apreciate greatness.

Looks like we are being spared from Transitions Tyler too this year. Bonus.

Just a snippet of Rapha Condor Sharp. :)

Vino first broke through in west europe in french races and french teams. That's probably why, and his French is good.

If I was a professional cyclist I would even give up winning the overall classification just to make sure a Frenchie doesn't win on the 14th of july. I would try and win it and if I do I would grab a French flag and throw it on the ground 100m before the finish :p

He's the greatest pursuit rider of his generation, of course he is going to do the Olympics. Team GB isn't just going to let a squad of upstart Aussie youngsters swan in and take the gold from them.

Ouch... Belgian commentary team describing (a little too graphically) that Kreuziger is suffering from a prostate infection. Yuck.

Probably kills him for the overall though.

My point is he should put it all in the olympics. Its a once in a lifetime opportunity, gold in home country, and hes one of the biggest names, might be bigger after this July.

The Tour aint no joke, hes going to lose all that weight spend all that energy in the mountains, and then a week later try a power event?

See you for the last 10 seconds.

Have you got that on speed-dial?
