Wow, great win by De Gendt!

It looks like Haussler was the fastest from the bunch, with Sagan and Hendo just behind him.

De Gendt wins :D

Told you, it's mainly thanks to de Gendt that the break stayed away in the first place. He deserved the win

I aggre, but jens did a lot of work also.

Belgian commentary team now claiming Vacansoleil as a "Belgian squad"...
They are so incredibly chauvinistic it's unbelievable

It isn't enough to be glad with a Belgian winning, no, the team has to be suddenly called Belgian too.

Leukemans, Devolder and Thomas.

What decent Dutchies do they have?

Caisse d'epargne was a French team too, but we all know it was Spanish :p

Well, I was wrong. I thought when the two pélotons got back together that was it but seems the chasing back on took a bit too much out of some of those that they were relying on to chase the group down.

Never trust Unzué's teams to chase things back for a sprint. They miscalculated and let Kiryienka stay out in the '08 Vuelta (though they took the stage win cos they had a monitor up the road), they couldn't pull back Fedrigo and Pellizotti in the '09 Tour, and in the '09 Vuelta they didn't even pretend to want to chase. And they failed again today.

Nice by the breakaway, de Gent owes Voigt a latter or two there. ;)

Geraint pulling off the front - very strong at the end,

Haha, poor Jens. All three of them deserved to win though, aslong as the breakaway wins its good for me if its supposed to be a bunch sprint.

Poor Jens got nothing out of it

Good! Used to be a fan until he turned into a whiner. Ohhh, those cobbles are too hard....Ohhh, those radios save lives....

Hope he goes out on a break every race, and ends up getting caught at the line. Freaking baby.

Indeed, without Rico or Mosquera, what on earth has Vacansoleil to offer in races?

God I have loved this stage, a thousand times better than I had expected to be frank. 5 more days too, with the best still to come. Yummie
