Some nice action here now. A group of 7 with Talansky, Porte, Bardet has a small advantage on the other favorites lead by TJVG on the descent. Fuglsang and Gesink gone. Don't know about others. Quintana is in the chasing group.

Wanna bet he fell in that downhill?

So typical, nothing ever changes. Better to be like PentaCycle and just hope for nothing
Luckily there's PCM ;)

Was hoping for Bardet there. Talansky did, by far, the least amount of work in the group and won.

I guess wheelsucking that much is almost justified considering it's Garmin's first win of the season ;)

Gesink loses a minute and loses PN again in a downhill. Repeat of 08, but this time even before the real mountains began
Was pretty obvious this would happen. Quintana or Talansky ftw now.

Gesink group @ 1.05

Poor descending
He might have been held up by a fall. There was reports of a second fall in the downhill after Kiryenka... but still, it's dissappointing.
He rides 2 flat stages in the front, and then the first serious stage he starts the climb in 30th position again.
for crying out loud how hard is it to start in front???

Very, very hard. Especially when Sky rips everything apart before the climb. But don't worry, it can't possibly be Gesinks fault.

you really are desperate aren't you? how hard is it to let the truth sink in? gesink is a joke of a professional cyclist, he will have his last year in blanco as a protected rider and he knows it
