We've established that everyone is bored and hates the route, can we just shut up about that for the rest of P-N please?

Never bored when it comes to cycling....I LOVE IT:)

I think De Gendt has already made a name for himself. The guy is in the break of virtually every race he takes part in.

Thomas De Gendt did great in the Algarve. He has been riding consistently strong this season. He took a second place in the second stage of the Tour Down Under behind Cameron Meyer and I think he could have easily won that stage if he didn't start sprinting that early.

I won't be surprised if he shows himself in the coming races in Flanders.

Once more: I really saw this coming a few weeks ago.

The riders do look like they're making a big effort though, the course can't be that easy.

Wow de Gendt is really, really strong it seems. I don't think he would have any problems winning in a sprint against Pauriol, Voeckler and di Gregorio.

Goss is struggling to hang on to the back of the bunch and getting no help from his team, he's not going to be a factor in the sprint.

Was that Haussler coming across?

[edit] Ah it's a Europecar rider, I thought it was the green jersey.
