I'm not sure what Hendo was doing there, he might have just been dropped or he might be going for bottles. Either way I guess he isn't being protected by Sky today.

Harmon says hes in trouble. Didnt look in trouble to me, looked fairly calm and relaxed. I agree with you.

Things are not actually breaking up that much, a small group has been dropped but they'll probably chase back.

Final climb and +100 riders left in the bunch with another 20 going to re-join.
Spiffing stuff, ASO.

while the course may not as fantastic as earlier years, its still the riders softpedalling on the hills. They could split things if they really wanted to, but apparently all the teams have decided that their TT guy should be their GC contender and thus won't take the initiative :rolleyes:v

De Gendt is making a name for himself. Props.

I think De Gendt has already made a name for himself. The guy is in the break of virtually every race he takes part in.

Have to say, I nodded off on that climb.

There's no way I don't fall asleep on the couch and miss this sprint...

pretty much everyday he picked up sprint or mountains (ahem) points.

think most of us brits first noticed him in the 2009 tob when he attacked on a daily basis and picked up two jerseys.

not a lot was ever gonna happen on this course.
Tomorrow's stage ain't bad. In a lot of ways stage 6 will - was always going to - dictate the race. Stage 7 is a let down, and the finally stage is generally fun.
A rather poor PN on a whole.

We've established that everyone is bored and hates the route, can we just shut up about that for the rest of P-N please?

T'is a forum, you have the ability to simply ignore posts if you wish. You commented on it, merely derailing the topic further. Well done sir :)

De Gendt is very impressive.
