They did the same on stage 1, very confusing. Don't think it's one for Tondó. Rojas might be close to the best sprinter of those that remain.

As Séan Kelly said, this is what we needed, because it was getting a bit dull.

norwegian commentators said they're on the front merely to be safer from crashes, citing someone in the movistar staff. that was on the descent, though.

With Kroon soloing and the Movistar train slowly closing the gap, the word "dull" raises it's ugly head again.
I had hoped we would have seen a lot of animated racing on this circuit.
As it is, it's all down to the final 10-15kms.

Haussler hits the wall, literally!

Movistar were damned good descending as a unit in 2009 and at times in 2010, whole team in there. Yes, they have the problem of people like Soler on the team, but as a whole they have a very good unit for going downhill.

Could we please discontinue this line of conversation, at least until the conclusion of today's stage.

That would be great. The conclusions won't change anyway, doesn't matter what happens today and tomorrow.
Would be great if I would be surpised but I don't expect anything no more from certain people.

I just deliver the handkerchiefs, while a towel would be better right now.
The bottom of these threads is really wet.

Could you apply the same policy to people who only post to insult anyone with the temerity to enjoy a race they've already decided is dull?

And how much crying and moaning have you done at the perceived anti-Hog bias here?

If you give it a rest, I will.

Though with a break off the front, a flat final 60km and Movistar on the front, this is like they put the 2009 Tarbes stage in a typhoon.

At least we haven't had Bruyneel's team soft-pedalling everybody through it.
