1st sprint
1. Sagan 3pts/3sec
2. LL Sanchez 2pts/2 sec
3. Kuchynski 1 pt/1 sec

Weird that Caisse gets Sanchez the sprint points and not Valv.... Makes little sense.

Either way, nice to see Sagan do some work for his leader

I am not sure Sagan won the sprint to help Kreuziger, they are now two Liquigas leaders and he did this to ensure his green jersey first of all....

Valverde has conceded. Their aim is Sanchez on the podium. That was proven at the first sprint.

And I agree with the poster above, Liquigas now have the white and green jersey sealed.

Plus they want a stage win. Sanchez is more likely to deliver them that than Valverde.

I was half joking, but it worked to serve both purposes, so it doesn't really matter what his objective were.

Hmmm. Formula 1 or P-N????

Meh... Why would you want to watch a sport where the winner is solely determined by who can best use 'technology' to aid their performance?

F1 on the other hand is pretty good.

That's what they were reporting yesterday. As for the race, it looks like Astana has taken their foot off the gas (smart move in my estimation).

It doesn't mean anything, but AC looks very comfortable.

And right I type that, Caisse ups the pace. He still looks comfortable, but I think Caisse is going to make a race of it (well I HOPE they make a race of it).

Still over 2 minutes lead for the two leaders. Can they do it? The last climb is only 4kms - the GC guys will probably put in a big effort and pull back the gap quickly, but if Voeckler and Moinard can pull out a bit more time on the downhill before then they stand a chance.

GC wont necessarily be over if conty comes over the top with the other guys. One mistake on a bend could cause him to lose time, add to the bonus seconds waiting at the end and it could quickly fall away from him.
