I think if the best and most techncial riders are in the peloton they can probably close minutes on their own slowly after everything falls apart everywhere.

Wow...woke up just in time to see the first secton of cobbles...this is going to be brutal!! Saw a flat...if the TSF tweet yesterday was correct, nobody on tubeless had a flat, so anything but tubless is incompetence IMO. Looks like there might be some incompetence happening...

For me the big chance for the break lies in thta both VdP and Van Aert have a fair share of teammates that could have a good shot on their own in the lead group

Yeah, I think the break got this. You could kinda see this coming the second that group had a gap but it's looking increasingly unlikely any team can close this gap.

When did it start?

2016. Well I guess 2016 was where the meme started, the curse might be even older. It started when I abandoned my oath to watch a race with a friend. He cursed me and henceforth I had only been called oathbreaker by him. Just hoping he will lift the curse before his line ends.

Front 4 is very dangerous, riding in a big group almost seems a disadvantage at this point
