If Laporte doesn't puncture, they don't sit up and he might well have been doomed to put in an even bigger effort later in the race. Ganna didn't look that brilliant, so at that moment he didn't want to take any chances.

Just tuned in a little while ago, first thing I saw on my screen was a brain. Those helmets, I think they are mesmerizingly awful.

Otherwise the weather is nice, the scenery is of lovely spring, and the cobbles look as murderous as ever. May the best (and luckiest) rider win!
