Jumbo going hard in the bunch, Van Aert is quite well off not having to work I think

Edit: or Van Hooydonck is just gonna do something random

I think Jumbo is forcing Alpecin to work to maintain the gap. However is too big the gap. They should have doing this when they were 1 minute behind

If only Van Hooydonck was French, then he'd magically be in the front group with the Jumbo car 20 metres behind in about 10 minutes.

Should Jasper work in the group? I think he could be saved. He has a way to win this
Maybe. But he and Vermeersch are the smallest and lightest riders in a group of the biggest powerhouses in the peloton, and I'm not sure whether Philipsen would really have an advantage over WVA, Pedersen, Walscheid or Degenkolb after such a hard race. He'll probably end up sitting on the chasers when this group breaks up, that would be his best chance of winning too.

If Ganna finishes top 3 RCS might bring back the Giro del Lazio with the Via Appia Antica cobbles, just saying...

MVDP had 2 teammates, van Hoydonck riding to either be there to help, or more likely, be there is Wout punctures or something, so Wout doesn't have to wait to long for someone to help.
