Bruyneel said Visma developes and will use a system able to change tyre pressure throughout the race, depending where Visma riders are pedalling (asphalt or cobbles). This seems a great advantage for WVA, specially after Carrefour!
There was a bit of talk about it earlier in the thread, yeah.

Sep Vanmarcke tested it for Belgian press and he gave it a 9/10. According to him, it slightly increases the risk of flat tires, though, and it takes a while to get pressure back up after the cobbles (1 km per bar), so you lose some power in those parts. Especially in the sprint it can be of advantage, though, and generally works well.

Problem was that his system somehow got linked to the other guy's bike computer, though, so he could turn down his pressure :D

With all these tire pressure changes, pretty soon bikes are going to start doing this stuff

There are loads of interviews from today's presentation on Youtube (need to scroll a bit down), if anyone is interested. But apart from Bini, more or less everyone sees himself as at least as a top 10 contender anyway ;)

The Kubis one is nice. And Pogi talks a lot about "the team", as if he'd be happy with Politt or Vermeersch taking the win.

Pog should ride for Politt but he won't.
Tadej "The Ego" Pogacar.
Mvdp to win, Wout to finish second.
The Pogacar thread would melt down. Total chaos.

But seriously why, he is only racing it because he wants to win it and bag all the monuments, otherwise the risk / reward doesn't stack up. Also, the field is stacked with people in great form - does Politt really have a good chance against MVDP, Wout, Pederson and Ganna?
