Will Alpecin's army of NPCs shred the race from 160 to go until the Arenberg like last year?

That won't drop Pog, and will shred themselves in the process. I think it would be unwise, but I don't get paid to develop race strategy for anyone.
Depends. Last year those guys burned themselves out, but they still had Vermeersch and Philipsen for the finale. I think Alpecin would happily have that scenario again.

I would like a WVA win but if it is because of that tire system it will be a bit of an asterisk win (I know its legal, but it feels a bit too much like were jn formula 1), which would be a shame because he is good enough to win without it, tho I get it does increase his chances.

Today is Palm Sunday. In AD 33 Christ was cheered by the crowd when he entered Jerusalem on a donkey.

Today someone will be cheered by the crowd when he enters Roubaix on a bicycle. Enjoy the show!

"Look it's a donkey!"
"No, it's the goat."

Either way it's now a racehorse.

Depending on how they play team tactics this time, the donkeys may be wearing yellow jerseys.

Cobbles are wet. It will probably dry out quite a bit for the finale, but some secteurs could be tricky.

Those conditions makes me more nervous about lightweight Pogi - looks way more dicey than SB? Hopefully dries out by the time the race passes these sections.

Fingers crossed no major crashes and especially no serious injuries.

It would appear we only have one safe place to ride here: In front and in the middle of the pavee. There will always be crashes in PR, it is an essential part of the race DNA. May the force be with the rider of choice.
