The guy won the Worlds with one shoe.
It was funny watching how little MVP cared about the broken boa on his shoe!! Picked himself up totally ashamed after self crashing and got up to finish the job!! He probably still would have won shoeless!! Last time Pogacar spaced out and beefed it at Bianchi he got up and rode like a madman!! Not this time.. That mud and bike wrestling took something out of boy wonder!! Congrats to Mathieu!!!
2 k more!!!

You've been using unfortunate and unlucky interchangeably, though, which is my point. You can't actually think there was anything unlucky about it. Regrettable, sure, but you've only used that word since I told you that's what it meant.
Crashing is an unfortunate event.

A mistake can mean you were unlucky.

You can be both unfortunate and unlucky in making a mistake.

You are arguing about nothing but yourself.

And saying it was regrettable. making it about a feeling show you are clearly wrong with no leg to stand on. Regret is surely something he feel about making a mistake that unfortunate. He was unlucky here.

None of this makes any sense, I am really sorry to say. You're not using any of these words according to their meaning.
