I'm not emotional, I really think he wasn't destroyed but agree to disagree.I know your emotions are high right now, I think with time you'll see he got smoked.

I guess he would have been dropped sooner or later anyway, but as I just saw an interview with him: Bissegger had a mechanical as well at that point. He had to take a wheel from neutral service, and therefor lost too much time to get back on with Philipsen.Gap is coming down to the guys behind and Bissegger is waiting

Visma hat guy: No, get on this bike instead

Did you happen to catch last year's edition? No he can't. There are at least 10 riders better than him
I think this is fairly common in Roubaix when somone loses time due to an accident, they first close 10s on adrenaline or whatever and then they gradually blow up.I agree, although today's example was a bit different, since VDP didn't get that advantage by attacking as the strongest (see Koppenberg 2024 or Glasgow 2023) but rather a crash. To that point, I didn't think Pogacar had showed himself to be weaker (honestly I'm beginning to wonder if the whole car-pickle juice handup was a charade because there was certainly some other playacting.) and I was fully expecting him to close the gap to MVDP. After the sector where the motos were 10 metres in front of him he never gained more time.
OMG, not this again... did you see the race after Roche aux Faucons? He only cameback because they were all looking to each other. Without Pogacar there, he would have finished outside the podiumDid you happen to catch last year's edition?
Collaboration breaks down all the time in races where pog is not present.OMG, not this again... did you see the race after Roche aux Faucons? He only cameback because they were all looking to each other. Without Pogacar there, he would finished outside of the podium
If he had been with Philipsen when Pogi forgot to turn in the corner, they could have caught him, I think.I guess he would have been dropped sooner or later anyway, but as I just saw an interview with him: Bissegger had a mechanical as well at that point. When they are fighting for the win, of course you don't get race dynamics syndrome and MVP would never comeback. This is very easy to understand. His third in Zurich was very different, he really was the strongest after PogacarCollaboration breaks down all the time in races where pog is not present.
You seem like you could use a yoga retreat.
I'm admittedly a big Pog fan (and a MvdP fan, though I'm annoyed he doesn't race more), but I think MvdP was the stronger today. Maybe Pog wasn't quite cooked, but he seemed to me to be losing energy faster than Mathieu. Just my impression though, I could be wrong.I'm not emotional, I really think he wasn't destroyed but agree to disagree.

And you don't think that translates to some non zero chance of victory at a future LBL?When they are fighting for the win, of course you don't get race dynamics syndrome and MVP would never comeback. Do you know what the maximum punishment is for that offence. The race communique is available on Tissot:
No penalty was handed out to UAE, so I guess the team car was allowed to go to the front when it did. Van der Poel got a 1000 CHF fine instead for late feeding.
WAIT a darned tootin minute partner! Benji is put there working hard on twitter demanding the bottle thrower spend a night in jail!!Netserk doing more analysis than podcasters who bs their way into consultancy jobs
Checking again, it wasn't Wright who made it, but either Van Mechelen or Bauhaus.Netserk doing more analysis than podcasters who bs their way into consultancy jobs
as far as I can see, 1000 CHF is the only possible fine for this offense. Not more, or less.Do you know what the maximum punishment is for that offence.
Sounds like he’s a hungry lad. This is a diet Chad Ochocinco would approve of considering he ate it his whole career.Mads P heading for McD to have "one of each", whatever that means.
Surely not one of each item on the menu? That doesn't sound... healthy... or good.
Also the way I saw it and to me Pogacar rolls way easier than MVP, who doesn't give off always smooth round pedaling, he is just a monster,I'm admittedly a big Pog fan (and a MvdP fan, though I'm annoyed he doesn't race more), but I think MvdP was the stronger today. Maybe Pog wasn't quite cooked, but he seemed to me to be losing energy faster than Mathieu. Just my impression though, I could be wrong.
Have to disagree with you on MVDP not being able to win LBL. It would be tough. But not impossible. Maybe not against Pogacar. But he might not always be there/be at his best during LBL. Lombardi is too hard admittedly.Today just showed Pogacar is the best classics rider. He can win all 5, on the other hand MVP can't win LBL and GdL.
