So nice to see Wout with a real shot at this Roubaix.
But honestly?
Looks like Pogi got it in the bag.

He looks comfortable so far, but not sure he should be taking so many turns... I'm still expecting Pog to take off any minute now and Wout won't have any gas to follow.WvA doing too much work.
I feel like Pog is being very smart here and making WvA really believe he can win because I expect the nuke to drop soon and Pog to solo to the line.
Or maybe I've just got Pog derangement syndrome and expect it to happen based on reputation alone. We'll see.
Anything can happen, but Pog doesn't look like the stronger of the two at the moment imoI feel like Pog is being very smart here and making WvA really believe he can win because I expect the nuke to drop soon and Pog to solo to the line.

Van Aert still looks decently fresh, it doesn't have the same feeling as this point in the race last Sunday. You can argue whether Van Aert should be doing as much as he is, but it definitely isn't completely indefensible like it was for Van der Poel at Ronde.Yeah Pogacar playing Van Aert like a fool here, let's him do the majority of work to stretch his back and get ready to attack him on Pevele and Carrefour de lArbre
Hey, the race is in France„Groupe Turgis“
This is not a hilly classic. Wout does not need to fear Pogacar
They are all placement riders, except MvDP.Its inevitable it would go like this, but it's unfortunate that the other riders aside from LaPorte in MDVPs group don't do some hard pulls to help out. It's the only way they can come back.
