This was also the best chance Pogacar could have asked for, even with the chase before Arenberg not having to deal with Van der Poel is a unique opportunity. He may have to wait for this generation of Flandriens to grow old before he completes the monument quintuple.

He needs to improve the way he turns on those cobbles.

Today there's no criticism that the slowest and most coocked cyclist took turns at the frot .Sometimes we should try to be a little more objective.

It's been a bit sad to see so much complaining in this thread. It was clear that Pogacar was more coocked and that Van Aert was faster.

Pogacar was doing all the work. Van Art was only wheelsucking and whenever he was in Front the gap imidiately started going down.
