This was an amazing win! As much as the front group was annoying to watch, it was nail biting till the end. They were playing around in the second group as well in the end, no one wanted to close the last 10 seconds, and in the end it was enough. Kudos to Alice Jackson.

Of course the big crash made a difference and the fact that the gap was quite large to begin with wasn't the smartest move, but it all added to the unpredictability.

Both the first two PR Femmes and also some of the other races this year have seen the decisive moves been made before the last 10 km, but this time everything could still happen inside the final kilometres.

Great racing today. Everyone was knackered, and in the end the favorites didn't have enough left to close that last 10 seconds. Deserved win by the front group.

we'll see from all the post race comments from riders in that 2nd group over the next couple of days, but I think they had plenty enough to have closed that gap if theyd gone at the right moment, but were too busy crossing the finish line in their minds already to spot they were chucking away their chance, they were just expecting the front group to wear out, and were just saving themselves for the velodrome.

absolute deserved win by Jackson, as the one rider in the front group who seemed to have her head switched on

Several there also hit the deck pretty hard, and though Kopecky won the field sprint, that clearly took some of the punch out of that group, as everyone who went down in that crash, appeard to eat the pave pretty strongly.
