opera turbo is very useful. it re-renders pages to use less bandwidth. very useful for making struggling feeds more watchable

Wow Klostergaard! He was almost invisible in the Giro, great result for him. I hope he can keep it up in the Classics next year

Belgians still won virtually all classics except Milano - San Remo this year. That's pretty cool.

good race, shame the sprint was affected by Marcato cramping.

Good ride by Stannard as well. I predict he will be announced as signing a new two year contract within 24 hours.

So much for being a sprinters classic :)

From a sporting perspective: Well deserved and well won by GVA.
From a forum perspective: The BMC'ism will reach unbearable levels.

Yes, nice enough race. Fully expected HTC to pull it back, but they were strangely absent?

Was a little face saving IMO. Was already well behind van Avermaet, and was never going to come back over him.

Yeah, he would have lost anyway.

And what happened to HTC? They were the ones that make this a good race. Lack of motivation?

They were at the front for a while but seemed to run out of steam very quickly.

Around 50km to go, Cav must have decided he didn't have it. Wouldn't be shocked if this was his first serious ride in 2 weeks...
