Seixas should immediately alter his schedule to include the 2026 Giro d'Italia now Remco isn't going!

For me hus biggest obstacle might be the French media.
If he is able to survive them, he might be able to somewhat challenge Pogacar already next year.

I have a lot of faith in Healy for Liège.

By the way, for someone so young, all the races confirmed on his schedule are tough. He doesn't have any easy races like Del Toro had last year in Italy.

He´ll be in Strade. That will be very interesting.

I heard somewhere that someone else does all his social media and he doesn't watch the news.

Great news, reminds me of Cole Palmer who takes all the penalties because he's too vacant to understand the magnitude of the occasion and doesn't feel pressure.

TDF Winner 2031 might be underestimation for Seixas. Impressive how he bossed Ayuso and Almeida, whom are basically GT podium contenders and possible winners in GTs without Pogi and Vingo.

FUTURE IS NOW

Pogacar has always been a huge underrated rider. I wouldn't be surprised if they say he can beat him even this year  . In his first year, despite winning Algarve and California, he was considered underrated. And he was underrated despite his Vuelta performance, winning 3 stages and that impressive performance on stage 20.

He arrived at the Tour de France without anyone taking him seriously. In the end, it was the best thing for him. With Seixas, the opposite will happen; he'll surely be on the cover of L'Équipe this year, and some will think he'll be sure in the podium, possibly beating Vingegaad and hoping for a mistake from Pogacar.

Luckily, he seems quite mature, because even Decathlon's DS is saying he'll be a future Tour de France winner. Even so, the French media are going to give him a hard time. For his sake, I hope he doesn't run into any problems and doesn't become another unfulfilled promise in France.

I think it is too early to debate on when he might challenge Pogacar. Tadej is probably the best there has ever been in cycling and it would already be very impressive if Seixas can challenge him once Pogacar is in his early decline.

But I understand we all need to have some hope, and Del Toro and Seixas seem to be the two most likely contenders to challenge at some point.

It's way too early. The level of riders you want to see him beat are the GT pretenders not named Pogacar or Vingegaard.

That's true, not much is being made that while Seixas is shining, great stage win another part of his team is at UAE racing well, with riders on the front of stages, causing pressure, Felix Gall with bold but unsuccessful move on brutal climb, and instead of explosion, Gall still in top ten with a respectable and workable 1:28 off the front. Decathalon looks for real and at 2 races mixing it up. Riccitello looks ok, and Cees Bol has had some good rides at UAE tour. I am not saying it's all coming up daisies for Seixas but many encouraging signs.

its not too early to see that young pup is a phenomenon, the greatest in the sport since pogi. and that he trains as a mature pro and is already very developed. challenging pogi is obviously a big ask, but i do think he will be an elite stage racer next year also in gts
