Re Davis, I haven't noticed any particular decline in results when he was with QS

And the AC identification debate is giving me a headache.

Contador was named in Puerto documents and that is a fact.

He's probably scaled back the dope with Astana he hasn't done a lot (I would back him to win the Commonwealth Games RR without dope as the field isn't that high and Cav basically had to ride on his own) since he's been with them, and I don't think his results at QS were that special, he won the TDU and a stage of the Tour of Poland, why not ramp it up to win a Vuelta stage or something.

I'm also well aware that Contador was named, I think just about all the LS riders from 2005 were named (except for people like Vino who wasn't on the team yet) or have the stigma attached next to their name for having riden for Saiz = client of Fuentes. Just as there are two AC's in the documents which is also a fact. I'm happy with the idea that Contador dopes, getting called up at the 11th hour to ride the Giro, a race he hadn't trained for and end up winning the race and when CERA use was rampant is a bit suspicious in my books.

What would Casero be doing in a list of Liberty riders?

I don't know if "AC" is used in other papers to refer to other people, but in that particular document it's unambiguously Contador.

I don't know if it's the same document, but didn't Contador admit that his name was in the Fuentes file (he said that his name just got "mixed in" with Fuente's documents, as though he was a non-client).

The point I was trying to make, which I think has been lost, is that isn't it strange that we have a copy of a page with all the LS riders listed on it. None of the leaks have mentioned any names of footballers and in some cases they have listed the names riders were listed in the documents under (Valv.Piti) etc but none of the links have mentioned a footballer even by a nickname. None of the pages on the net show a footballer or other sport even though it's in code.

It's as if it's all been editted in advance to remove other sports

Even among the cycling files, there are numbered pages missing. In theory they were those belonging to the young Liberty guns.

Yesterday Pereiro was in Punto Pelota again. He reaffirmed what he said the other day. He also called for an end to OOC tests.

See, this is why you can't put a huge hypocrite like Pereiro on a pedestal.

It's not his fault, really. He's in way over his head. He never expected to win a grand tour. He was just trying to make a living, and feels a bit conflicted about having won what wasn't his because the other guy did what he himself did ... but is bitter that he never got famous for having done what the other famous guys did - it's really too much for him to handle mentally.
