And the good news is that if you have an iOS device (not sure about Android) you can listen to them worldwide with the Radioshack app!

Today Phil comment how the feed was coming and going and being intermittent and I couldn't help chuckling and thinking that was exactly how Phil's brain functions.

Yep, there's an Android version. I'd use it, but the building I'm working in seems to have heavy mobile-data shielding.

Paul: The rider behind is saving upwards of 30% the energy and power output while in the slipstream of the rider in front.

Thanks for that one again Paul. Never hear you say it enough.

Phil: "...how nice would it be to see George Hincapie going for stage victory here as it's last race before retirement..."
Paul: "...I think that's not possible as he's pulling the peloton right now...".

Paul: "...today it was a very fast stage, if you take off the 1st climb they kept an average of 50km/h!!..."

It was a downhill stage, Paul!:D

This needs to be reported to his employers, they can't possibly stand by an employee making such scandalous comments, not sure who they are though, NBC ?

... than to speak and remove any doubt.

You call "N", I'll call "B", and somebody else call "C". But seriously, maybe there's a "contact" or "comment" link on an NBC web site. Or just send something to "the president@nbc.com". can't hurt.. think I will.

Problem with Phil (besides getting senile, drinking too much and wearing a dress) is that he's been in lock step behind Sir Lance and Paddy McQuaid for so long he's got no other choice. "Ya got to dance with the one that brung ya." , to the dance that is.

Do other sports put up with such gross incompetence? Even Howard Cosell went down for his racist remarks.

This is great. NBC must know his position as a commentator for the sport is unbearable. Him preventing a legal process and disturbing the whole work against doping could be considered a criminal offense.

Also try and engage NBC on their Facebook and Twitter.

It is a good think to email NBC and express your displeasure but do not be surprised when it does not go anywhere.

When Versus was absorbed into NBC David Micheals was the new man in charge. Full on Armstrong groupie. First thing he does is wack Fankie, who had been working the Tour for 9 years.

He likely believes a lot of the BS Phil spews

Paul: "..Cannondale is there but not pulling as they have Sagan at the front.."

Meanwhile the tv camera show Cannondale taking strong pulls at the front of the chasing peloton in double line. :D

Right and then one of them says..."er...well maybe they are trying to bridge to the first group because Sagan is isolated there so if he has a problem no one will be able to help him" !

It's really a guilty pleasure to listen to these guys on the iOS Livefeed...

Eeehm actually Cannondale did no real work in the chase group, but mainly disruption. They did a few pulls at the beginning, but no real work. And also Jansch and Leclerq puzzled abut it, as it wasn't that clear to see from the live pictures. So in this case nothing to blame Phil & Paul.
