A little bit of a twist from previous polls. Who would you like to be on the podium of the 2010 Tour de France? You can select as many riders as you want. I suppose if you want to keep it, relatively realistic, pick your top three for the poll. This is basically a "who's your favorite rider" poll! :)

My favorites (in order):

1. Samuel Sanchez
2. Alejandro Valverde : )
3. Andreas Kloden
4. Yaroslav Popovych
5. Oscar Pereiro
6. Chris Horner
7. Cadel Evans
8. Alexander Vinokoruov

but i want to vote for other three times :/

Ok then..

1st: Vino
2nd: Moncoutie
3rd: Nibali

Mountains: Thomas De Ghendt
Green: Boasson Hagen
White Jersey: Peter Kennaugh
Lantern Rouge: Lance Armstrong

not my favourite riders, but was trying to have some sense of realism. Lizzie Arminstead is unlikely to win the tour.

1. Amets Txurruka (also Grand Prix de Combativité)
2. David Moncoutié (also polka-dot jersey)
3. Rigoberto Urán (also white jersey)

Juan Mauricio Soler to win the queen stage, Footon to sign José Rujano and him to win a MTF, Joaquím Rodríguez to come 4th, and Linus Gerdemann to win the green jersey just by being up there in the mix in every stage hoovering up the lesser points and intermediate sprints.

Fabian Wegmann and Óscar Pereiro to win stages.

Anton is unlikely to be in the Tour start list. Euskaltel has preselected Samu Sánchez, Egoi Martínez, Rubén Pérez, Gorka Verdugo, Amets Txurruka and Juanjo Oroz. The additional riders to fill the roster will surely be selected from a list including Aitor Hernández, Iñaki Isasi, Alan Pérez and Iván Velasco.

i only voted for basso and menchov, these are the only 2 from the list(and that i can remember) that I would really like to be on the podium..... Well I could think of some other guys but they dont really have any chance, so I didnt vote for other, but I think a frenchman would be great like moreau, casar or moncoutie.

if basso and menchov make it I wil lbe happy, and hope one of them can win it.

Blind and unrealistic hope?

1. Gesink
2. Contador
3. Schleck

More realistic hope

1. Contador
2. Schleck
3. Gesink

But probably

1. Contador
2. Schleck
3. Many candidates, from Armstrong/Menchov/Evans to Kreuziger/Gesink/Sanchez etcetera

Gesink in the top 5 is quite realistic. With the course he could even podium but it will be interesting to see the realtionship between Menchov and Gesink who are fighting for the leadership role.

They are co-leaders. That can work perfectly well.

I don't see how they get into a 'fight' unless one is in yellow. And frankly, I don't see that happening (Menchov or Gesink in yellow)

If we're really doing the Tour de France podium of my dreams, it would be:

1) Me, by a huge margin.
2) Contador, totally flabbergasted and furious that an 48 year old guy who stopped racing years ago out climbed and out TT'ed him.
3) Schleck.

As others have noted here: Armstrong: Lanterne Rouge, or DNF. Or best of all, scratched from the start list.

My Dream 3 Would Be;
1st=Gesink
2nd=Moncoutie
3rd=Renshaw(He would need to get in a winning breakaway and gain at least 55 mins+)
But Realisticly only Gesink has a real chance...........
Latntern Rouge=Van Den Breakaway.....
