Chuck it on the Team bus and they get it back to the service course (if the bus is there).
From there it's easier to ship it to the rider.

You wrote 'one' instead of 'won': I edited it without drawing attention to it to help you save face, especially with RhD's enthusiasm for correcting you, but you sort of blew the subtlety of it away. A few weeks early for a simnel cake: I'm not aware of others than are usually decorated with eggs. And the main body of it looks like a dalek.

The original tower (Torre Gorgot) is part of the Salvador Dali museum in Figueres, and the whole building is decorated with eggs as they are ubiquitous in his work. I think it's unlikely to be a cake.

Nor was it designed by Dali himself, though.

If Hoban or Rolf Sørensen had raced the Aussie Gravel Championships (if it had existed at the time and they had either switched allegiance or been allowed to race anyway, like when Cromwell herself unofficially won the European Championships), they could have brought home something to cook their cattle in (or fry, more likely).
