The fact that Brailsford spoke of dominating the sport is the reason I root for him to fail. The Sky riders for the most part don't bother me, it's just Brailsford and his attitude just rubs me the wrong way.

This. I agree that is a good sum of my anti-Sky bias. But I do like Wiggo, Thomas, Swifty and many British riders. Not Froome though, yuck, his book and he seems phony to me.

I don't feel too badly for Tony. While I was glad to see him finally break Fabian's streak, I am also ready for Tony to have a little more competition too. I don't like it when one guy dominates for too long. And Wiggo isn't likely to have a string of wins due to his age (and turning back towards the track, etc.)

So for me, this was a nice change, and next year we'll be back to Tony again, or Dumoulin, or whoever. Or maybe Taylor Phinney will develop just a bit more.

Froome to ride World TT next year? I think he could win it.

Don't see that happening. Plus the Worlds is in the USA next year. . . .

I'm suprised by the result. Either Martin was weaker than normally, or the field was stronger than normally. So many people within 1/2 minutes.
Wiggins winning is not a huge suprise ofcourse but still a little upset.
Dumoulin much closer to Martin than I anticipated but also Kiryenka and Dennis very good. Happy that Dumoulin got his podium place though!

All aristocratic or sub-aristocratic titles are revolting, but ones handed out to people for riding a bike are less revolting than ones that are inherited or handed out for being a plutocrat or slaughtering natives.

Looking at Wiggins and Kiryienka's performances Sky really should have won the Team Time Trial. They just needed a fit Thomas and Froome showing up and they'd have won it pretty easily.

Yeah.. I think he dug deep one ot two times to much this season..
He was more active than ususal in both Tour-Vuelta..

Remember two years ago he only beat Taylor Phinney by 5 seconds to win the worlds. He's not quite the unbeatable force that he's made out to be.
