I guess due to riding alone all the time 7.06 w/kg could be upped to 7.15-7.2 w/kg.
2000 m/h of VAM for 17 minutes (or 1950 m/h of VAM for 19 minutes if shallower part is included). Obviously it's great climbing but didn't our experts expect even more during this TT?

Doesn't the standard formula already assume no drafting?

My personal suspicion anyway is that a formula that hasn't been updated since the 2000s is probably overestimating wind resistance, even for a solo rider as unaerodynamic as Pogacar.

That said, Vingegaard and Roglic were on full TT setup, so the W/kg gap should be even bigger than what it was here.

6.5 w/kg for 54 minutes for Vingegaard, that's absolutely crazy. i remember when we would be in here during the Volta a Portugal talking about how crazy it was that they were doing that for 20 minutes.

oh, and he couldn't drop Pogacar.

I mean it is totally wild. He was drilling it pretty well. And sure, Pogacar was drafting, but he also weighs more, so the sheer wattage must have been smokin'

Widar faster than Pogacar on Tignes (steepest part). Over a minute faster.
2021 Tignes is one of if not the slowest climbs in Grand Tours in this era. The only one that may come close in how slow it was is Torre di Fraele for very obvious reasons.
