Pellizotti was sixth on my list...but I thought he might be more of a decoy for Basso (I was still thinking that when he took off up the road ) and I guess like lots of us that Sastre would be up there too. But he (Pellizotti) definately showed folks a clean pair of heels - not that surprising since he's been there or there abouts all year (not just in the Giro)

Pellizzotti wasn't picked by most based on his performance on Mount Petronas. Simple as that. Same reason people picked Sastre which turned out to be the wrong move.

Dude, you're killing me. First, I missed a bunch of points for turning in my picks late for a race which is fine, but now I pick the winner correctly and get the entire top 5 and it doesn't count?

Why are those of us who sent in picks being punished because others didn't?

I agree with jaylew -- shouldn't cancel the stage 19 just because some people did not submit picks. I too was late sending in my 5 for Fleche-Wallone and was penalized. I say keep stage 19 in and add the final stage tt as a bonus for all.

I like this idea, or just have the TT for those who didn't send in their picks. The people who didn't send in their picks should be the ones that get penalized not the people who sent their picks in.

While I understand some of the sentiments expressed above...

I think it's up to Mercyx - he's doing all this out of the kindness of his heart and of the side of his already buzy desk. So I am happy to go with what he sees as appropriate - and give my it my full support

Although given that I am close to or joint top (not sure of my math) I wouldn't complain if I had the Yellow Jersey for a couple of days!
