I would assume it's good now, I did the same thing in PCM 14 and they all had my team jersey, so it should stay the same for pcm 15.

Edit: on a few occasions one of my riders would be wearing the young riders classification jersey for no reason, but again I have yet to play pcm 15 so this could be good now

Thanks for the reply, yeah im into my 2nd season now and no problems.

My pure climber Ayaan Kadam from Pakistan is now 24 years old.
I'm at 83 climbing and 78 hill, so almost maxed out. I've won all 3 grand Tours  Tour in 2018, Vuelta in 2019 and now Giro in 2020. I've also been 2nd in the Tour (2019) and Giro (2018). I've obviously won all young rider jerseys in the GT's.
1-week tours are hard to win as a pure climber because of too few real mt stages and often a ITT. I did win Pays Vasco once. And last year I also won Il Lombardia (2019) as my first major classic.
In the Ardennes classics I place between 10-20th, not enough specialist for that.

it's a really addictive mode

Haven't had a PCM since 13. Any big difference between 14 and 15? Would be open to getting 14 given that it's half price

The new be a cyclist game mode in 15 is pretty neat. Unfortunately I'd say it's still a bit underdeveloped (could use a more detailed way of presenting your career accomplishments, more team coordination options in the 3d race rather than just doing whatever the hell you want and hoping your teammates don't do anything incredibly stupid, etc.; frankly I think the addition of press conferences, a la Football Manager, would be nice at this point also), but that's to be expected since its new for this year. If the idea of taking the role of a young rider going through his career appeals to you, then pick up 15.

Don't know if this has been mentioned, but I found that with your own young rider you have to spend hours simulating days as he barely has any race days for the first season or two. Did anyone else have this problem?

It depends on which team you sign for at the start, I had the same problem when I got to ride for Axeon and also for a small Italian team (dont remember which one, instantly quit the career when I saw the race program as it was my first year), but with Rabobank development team you get quiet a nice schedule, and I assume if you join a PCT right away you also get a pretty good roster.

I was playing the pro mode but have a problem, my game got stuck and everytime i click on next day it crashes. So I went in the auto saves and took one from a week back (in the pro mode), I could load click next again but now Im at the same day where I was with the crashed thingie and this one also keeps crashing at the same date.

Any ideas of what I can do? Would like to continue with this one instead of fully starting over :(

Did you resolve the problem? Most likely it is some problematic stage. If that is the case you can either change the stage to some other one that works or just manually make it the "last stage" in the db (then there would be no results for that particular race, but you would be able to continue in the game).

If you can't work it out, you can upload your save and I will have a look at it.

No I didnt resolve it, it was not during a race at all, just simulating days. After this one crashed I started a new career and it is again stuck in the 2nd year at the same date (22nd of july). Would be awesome if you can have a look at it, can I mail you the saved game (if you give me your email adress in a PM), or should I upload it at a different place?

I've been playing this game from Cycling Manager 3. But every year's new game is not more then an update from last year's game. Bugged, badly polished.. New stuff like career mode with a single rider is cool but the way it's been it feels like it misses a lot..

Would be great to see a PCM made with a lot bigger budget.. but hey, it's a cycling game.. so slim chance.

Are they much better then the 2013 version i'm currently playing?

For that matter, can anyone tell me what has changed with the game since then? I've been out of the loop for awhile and can't really tell.

The main difference from 2018 to the versions several years before are obviously the upgraded graphics and interface. Plus the single player career mode is pretty cool, not sure what year that was released?

I got bored for playing the same shooters/sports games and bought PCM 2020. Its the first time playing. Lot of stuff to learn, but career mode seems nice. Already 6 wins in my first season as a puncheur. Although the races in first year and I wished I would have made my guy a bit taller. Constantly losing flat sprints because of my lack of sprinting. Maybe If I progress to a WT team I can race in races that suit my profile better.

Just checked the newest version in my nephew's computer. Probably one of the laziest game series ever, its improvement in decade in many parts are negligible, maybe only lack of competition keep it alive.
Good thing is that if you like to modify the game files, you won't get lost in the structure even if you skip 10 editions of it, you can still copy paste things and modify them a bit from 2010 versions:D, I even find typos in some .xml that stay since the last time I played it.
