does #doingthelittlethings mean Sky have bought a page out of Armstrong's book and are pursuing the Olsen twins for their "mascot(s)"?

Sky are so innovatives. Soon they will move on to McConnaugheys too.

Have they had Wiggins in the wind tunnel since he got that tattoo? Maybe that is what's making him ride like it's 2007.

After juicing his performance to levels unseen in his career, Wiggins now cannot be bothered to ever try for a grand tour again. Convenient. Hesjedal was pretty much a joke this season. Even Contador does not seem willing to risk much. Is this the new strategy for doping: Dope yourself to the moon then coast on the results?

Who is next?

lol at Wiggins. 17 minutes down on todays stage.

How do skyfans explain this spectacular bust?

why would his crap results be difficult to explain for sky fans?
could be a motivation issue, i guess.
his top results were certainly indicative of doping, but his current crap form to me is suggestive of nothing other than a lack of motivation.

Well looks like he can still TT - over short distances anyway. Looks A LOT heavier than when he was a GT rider though. What happened? Weigh loss stuff not workign anymore? OR did he just become lazy and undisciplined? Start eating nutella perhaps?

Or he is actually planning to race PR in which case the added weight will benefit him on the cobblestones.

how does added weight benefit you on the cobbles? Are you assuming he'll be adding on power as well? Because he already smoked the world at flat TTs back when he was super skinny, so I have a hard time believing he can improve his power from there.

My understanding is that weight works against you (increases rolling resistance) even on the flats. On cobbles it would be worse than a smooth road. But uphill it's most important, obviously. The point being that the guy who wins PR is never "fat", so obviously weight doesn't actually help.

Pretty much what the poster said above. You can have all the power in the world but if you can't apply it because you spend half the time in the air then it's pretty useless.
