BTW is this post you aknowledging that when Wiggins the tter outclimbed Nibali on those TDF climbs and those Vuelta climbs and rode with superdoped Armstrong and Contador and Schlecks in the 2009 TDF, that was dodgy? You know him being a tter and all and those being mountains and all. Or will you find a way to spin that too?

Come on, give it a shot ;)

Well - doper or not I enjoyed Wiggins performance enormously, he planned his performance across the course with mathematical precision and had enough in his legs left to outfox Martin and get the gold. I can't help but think that he knew he was a busted flush to ride 3 week races, and that rainbow jersey was his primary goal all year.

Despite him being a prat on the microphone it was one of his classic interviews post race, and a perfect swansong to his career now his gc career is ending.

And finding out that you lot created a load of sock puppet accounts during the plume affair ten years ago put a smile on my face. I can only imagine the Bedlam and chaos that were had with them here in the past! :D

The Landis perspective.

On the subject, Landis told Cyclingnews: “In my opinion Wiggins went from a hopelessly average climber to being the second best rider in the Tour in 2012. In 2011, the year Leinders joined the team, Wiggins transformed into a climber who was even better than he'd been in 2009.

“People are free to judge that for themselves and ask legitimate questions about Sky and their hiring policy.”

“In light of all of this, the comments from Greg, Armstrong, Leinders and Zorzoli, it's not surprising that virtually all legitimate sponsors have fled the sport. It is now financed primarily by bored wealthy men who need a reason to give their wives about why they spend so much time with young leg-shaving men in tight pants.”

Dim was talking about that on twitter yesterday, trying to seek confirmation that this was indeed the case.

Even speculating that he may have been 'Rider 2', but it was pure speculation.
Clearly someone has just screwed up the data entry. It's not exactly unusual.
The results on this very website don't have him as a Rabo rider: http://autobus.cyclingnews.com/results/2001/sep01/schaals01.shtml

A more improbable reason is that it's a copyright trap.

But the idea that Wiggins rode for Rabobank and this is the sole reference to it in 15 years is really far fetched. But that stop some from treating it as fact.

a positive test wouldn't suffice for you - just like it didn't suffice for lance fans in 05. L'Equipe spiked the samples they said. You guys will say similar.

Go and find a second source that Wiggins rode for Rabobank and come back to me (maybe he did). But if you are unquestioningly taking a result sheet on an amateur website as evidence then you're a bias fool.

Wiggins: born in Gent
Leinders: education in Gent

at least they had something to talk about other than cycling.

OK. Let's get down to brass tacks.

Are you willing, on the evidence that you have, to state that Bradley Wiggins rode for Rabobank? (You tweeted it as fact).

Yes or no.

(I know you won't back down from an answer as I know that you expect an answer)

maybe

a lot of things can be found on google

Well, not maybe, they did share the same Doctor. Wiggins used and praised the same doctor as Rabobank. There is no argument. And a doping doctor as well.

What was Wiggins saying in 2007? If there's a 1% chance, out? LOL!
