In his 2007 speech he made a big deal out of the fact that dopers had massive salaries. 2 years later the sport is suddenly 100% clean, Wiggins is suddenly the best, he gets his million dollar salary, there's no doping to complicate things, pigs can fly and the whole world lives happily ever after.
